Hi all!

Well, we have only 10 days left to make a big final push for written surveys; child and parent. Please, please help as the more data, the better!

By the end of this week, I should have some dates for upcoming classes with kids. These classes are pilot classes, so to speak, based on what the kids have told me they either want to learn or need to learn. As soon as the data is complete by Sonoma State, then we will apply for grants to develop programs with workbooks and lots of visual aids. This is also what the Gala is for-to help pay for all this!

Last Saturday night, the Vine Hill House (where I live) was having a wedding, which they do every weekend, and Jan O’Connell was telling the photographers about Shine The Light On Kids and they volunteered to be the official photographers of our gala next February. There are 3 of them and we’ll have some incredible photos! They are Tibidabo Photography. Please support them as they are supporting us.

If you haven’t watched any kids videos for a while, you should. They are so great. Little Julie, who is six years old, when asked if she was worried about the safety of the food and water she’s drinking, looked thoughtfully and said, “You shouldn’t drink bath water or lake water or pond water.” Don’t you love it?
