Here are some simple ways to improve your health!
- Buy and Consume only organic, locally grown, seasonal foods
- Eat non-starchy vegetables at every meal~ lots! Raw and lightly cooked
- Consume 25-35 grams of dietary fiber per day
- The Chemistry of Color! Eat lots of various colored vegetables
- Rotation of food~ vary what you eat. If you eat it today, don’t eat it for 4 days
- Try not to buy food with labels
- Avoid processed foods
- Eat more healthy fats, especially omega 3 fats acids found in cold-water fish, walnuts, chia, flax and hemp–avoid unhealthy fats
- Eat more leafy greens; chard, kale, spinach

- Use lots of fresh herbs; limit salt
- Limit or avoid sugar
- Limit or avoid alcohol and caffeine
- Drink 8 to 10 glasses of filtered water per day
- Eat slowly; chew well
