The next class, will be the second class in the series we entitled, ‘Almost Any Problem Can Be Solved in the Kitchen’. It will be on Tuesday, March 28th from 5:00 to 7:00, in Santa Rosa, CA. Address to be sent out a few days prior to class. I am teaching this class as part of the non-profit I founded, DirectionFive Health, a culinary and nutrition program for kids. https://directionfive.org/
Note: This class is filling very quickly.
The kids will learn the basics of climate change and what they can do to help. As we discussed in the first class of this climate change and food choice series, everything we do matters. The class will be open to 12 kids (parents will watch) and we’ll learn a lot and make a pot of Minestrone soup to share. The entrance fee is a donation to DirectionFive, which is a non-profit. It is open to 12 kids and the entrance fee to hold your place is a donation to DirectionFive. DON’T MAKE A DONATION TO HOLD YOUR PLACE UNTIL YOU SPEAK TO ME AS WE ALREADY HAVE 7 KIDS REGISTERED! AFTER YOU KNOW THERE IS STILL ROOM, you can go to the website and click on donate-easy- and follow up with an email to me that you’ve donated. Please donate whatever you can to cover the cost of the food. If you can only donate $5.00 then that’s fine, but if you can donate $50.00, that’s awesome. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. I have found over the years that if folks can give a little extra so that someone else can attend who wouldn’t be able to otherwise, they do. My guess is that ingredients will be about $10.00 per person, at most. All donations are appreciated! MY EMAIL is patty@pattyjames.com
