We have until tomorrow to send in written surveys for Shine The Light On Kids. I’m calling and emailing everyone I met across the country today to ask for my surveys to be filled out. Would you do the same?

Yesterday I had tea with a new friend, Tanya, who emailed me some time ago and offered to help and become involved with Shine The Light. I wish I could meet with each of you to chat about programs and vision like I did with Tanya. If anyone wants to have a one on one conversation with me, please send me an email to patty@pattyjames.com and we’ll exchange phone numbers and speak on the phone. I’m a much better talker than typer

Tanya is trying very hard to find someone to do a fantastic PowerPoint presentation. She is also working on finding a grant writer and has an ‘in’ to a big name in the film industry, which would bring more attention to Shine The Light. I’ll let you know about that when we chat!

I’m thinking it might be a good idea to set up a conference call where people call in and we can all chat. Would you like that?

Remember, at STL we work directly with kids and their families. We believe that our nations health begins right there. We will teach the kids to be teachers with a certificate program. We will teach adults to do the same. Do you want to help?

Last thing, did you cross off February 19th, 2011 for our big Gala? We have just begun and we have such incredible auction items! 2 tickets to the Grammys, sailing lessons, a weekend in New York, gift certificates to local stores and restaurant. This will be-no question-the event of the year!
