It’s Cabbage Season!

Winter is cabbage season and I love cabbage! When I was growing up my Mom would steam cabbage in wedges and then drizzle it with melted butter and a little salt. That and coleslaw are still my favorite ways to eat cabbage. Cabbage is a cruciferous vegetables, like broccoli and cauliflower, that you should you eat on a regular basis. They are known cancer fighters and high in dietary fiber.  IMG_3731
