Good morning all!
First things first…I heard from my son in Afghanistan last night!!! We were able to chat for a full 10 minutes! I knew he was o.k. but still, hearing his voice eased my mind. He has a lot of interesting stories to share when he comes home in November. This is an understatement. Whenever I feel down or out of sorts I think about my son and all the other young men and women over there and I snap out of it. Let’s bring all these kids home, please…and soon.
This Saturday I am making my delicious, if I don’t say so myself, Gazpacho at the Point Reyes Farmer’s Market. Point Reyes is such a sweet little village. I love it there and am looking forward to Saturday. Join me! I begin at 10:00 in the Toby’s Feed Barn.
On Sunday I am filming more cooking videos for my You Tube site, OrganicCooking. I am making homemade pizza with a bunch of kids, 4 types of salad dressings, and a couple other things. They’ll be live in a month I would guess, if not sooner.
I am also teaching a fun Salads class in the seaside town of Sausalito on October 12th at In The kitchen (ITK). I hope to see you there as well. It’s on the calendar page. www.itkculinary.com
Yesterday I did a radio interview with the US’s oldest radio station in Boston. I’ll post the link when it’s live on their site.
Last thing (for now) beginning next week I will be teaching regularly at The Boy’s and Girl’s Club in Roseland, CA. (an area of Santa Rosa. More details on the program very soon.
