I will be the guest chef at Adobe Road Winery’s Harvest Hike and Food/Wine Tasting on October 14th at the beautiful Famighetti Vineyard in Healdsburg. Caramelized Onion Tart and Rose in the treehouse. A hike through the stunning vineyard. Charcuterie (with a lesson included as to putting one together) with more wine. Roasted beet salad with chevre, pistachios and a sherry vinaigrette (lesson as well while you sip..) served with a bistro filet with mixed mushrooms and shallots. Flourless Chocolate Cake with Blackberry Puree for dessert. My book, More Vegetables, Please! is included. Those who know me know that I use the finest ingredients. I had the nation’s first certified organic cooking school and I am a nutritionist, so delicious food with a (brief) nutrition lesson is included. I promise you’ll have a lot of fun!
