My goal for 2010 was to travel the country interviewing kids about their health and I am proud to say I did just that. I received the data analysis from Sonoma State Math and Stat department on December 23rd-an 89 page report! Thank you Dr. Susan Herring and all the students who helped with the project. We will be forever grateful.
I spent the holidays with my family and had a wonderful time visiting. I love it more than I can say when I have all my kids together under one roof.
On the 30th I sold the R.V. that I had purchased to travel the country. It was kinda’ sad saying goodbye to it as it represented a lot of memories, good times and accomplishments. It is also just a thing and I have more to do to finish what I started, which is exactly what I intend to do with the help from a lot of people who are involved with Shine The Light On Kids, and also family and friends helping in whatever way they can so I can complete the health programs.
So where the heck am I now? I am in the gorgeous Applegate Valley in Southern Oregon, about 45 minutes from Ashland where my Mom and sister Margaret, niece and nephew live. My dear friends John and Nancy offered me their guest house to live in while I am writing the programs the next 2-3 months. Can you imagine that? That and Margaret and my Mom came for lunch today with all sorts of food right from the farm. Yeah!
This my living room….
My office. Yeah! Room for 3 computers!
Yet another heart rock telling me I’m on the right path.
A real kitchen! Heaven…
Wilma and my sister’s puppy, India
The pond and view from my guest house
So quiet and peaceful here
Right before sunset a little bit ago, these deer walked past my office window
I’m pretty settled in now after being here for three days and John and Nancy say they love me here..and not just because I make them dinner every night, which, of course, I love to do.
I am very thankful for everyone in my life and for this beautiful place to write.
